About Leany

Leany grew up traveling the world since a young age with her mother being in the military. She started off in modeling and traveled to places like Paris, France, and Rota, Spain. Eventually she found her way into the circus world where she learned about juggling, fire hoola hooping, fire breathing, walking on stilts, arial acrobatics, and more. With plenty of practice and experience, she has become one of the best performers in her industry and has performed at several celebrity events. Now, she travels the country with her circus troupe, Fire Heart Dancers, to put on amazing shows that will leave you mesmerized.

Intermediate Lyra: Elevating Technique and Fluidity

Take your Lyra skills to the next level in our Intermediate Lyra Workshop! This session is designed for aerialists who have a solid understanding of basic mounts, poses, and transitions, and are ready to explore more advanced moves and techniques. We’ll focus on refining your strength, control, and movement flow as you begin to integrate more complex elements into your Lyra practice.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn advanced mounts, transitions, and dismounts

  • Improve your control and flexibility for more intricate poses

  • Work on building fluidity in transitions and sequences

  • Strengthen key muscle groups for better aerial performance

  • Develop the confidence to tackle higher-level skills and tricks

Leany will guide you through challenging new moves while emphasizing proper technique, alignment, and safety. This workshop will also introduce creative sequences to help you begin to choreograph your own flows in the air.

What to Bring: Comfortable, form-fitting clothing (long leggings and a fitted top are recommended), a water bottle and a positive mindset

Workshop Details: This is a 90 minute, intermediate+ workshop

  • Sunday, March 2nd, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Prerequisites

This workshop is for aerialists with a basic understanding of Lyra who want to build strength and confidence in more advanced aerial moves. Student in this workshop will be working on refining their technique and increase the fluidity of their movements.

  • Students should be confident in their top and bottom bar mounts (straddle inverts, pike/trapeze mount, and pullovers to top or bottom bar.

  • Students should be comfortable completing sequences while spinning.

  • Students should be comfortable in a variety of beginner and intermediate poses in/on the lyra


Intermediate Aerial Hammock Workshop- Fluid Sequencing and Choreo 

Take your aerial practice to the next level with our Intermediate Aerial Hammock Workshop! Designed for students who have mastered the basics, this workshop will focus on building strength, refining technique, and exploring more dynamic movements.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn Intermediate-level wraps, drops, and transitions

  • Focus on fluid sequencing and choreography

  • Be given strength-building drills and flexibility training

  • Be provided with safe spotting and progression techniques

What to Bring: Comfortable, form-fitting clothing (long leggings and a fitted top are recommended), a water bottle and a positive mindset

Workshop Details: This is a 90 minute, intermediate+ workshop

  • Sunday, March 2nd, from 3:45pm to 5:15pm

Prerequisites

This workshop is perfect for those with prior aerial hammock experience who are ready to challenge themselves with new skills and creative expression in the air.

  • Students should be able to hold their own body weight

  • Students should be able to comfortably complete inverts, pull overs, and hipkeys in the hammock

  • Students should be confident in basic leg and arm wraps

  • Students should be able to comfortably complete a variety of multi pose sequences in the hammock.
