2025 General Showcase Information

We are very excited to host our second annual kids’ showcase. This years show will be spring themed and the performance will be on April 5th & 6th, 2025. We will have two matinee shows this year to allow for more friends and family to attend.

How the process works: We have three categories you can register to participate in which are, Group Acts, Closing Number, and Solos. Solo slots are limited and do require instructor permission. The Group Acts will have an eight-week rehearsal schedule prior to the performance and the Closing Number will have six weeks of rehearsals prior to the performance.

Students can register for up to two different categories. Costumes are not included in the registration fee and will come at an additional cost. Please see below for more details about each category as well as rehearsal dates and cost. Please note we will not have any rehearsals on March 9th due to a studio event..

• All courses are for ages 8 to 17.

• Each class session will be 75 - 90 minutes long and will focus on learning one full routine.

• Costumes are not included in the registration cost

• One ticket voucher per student is include with your registration.

Group Acts

This is an eight-week performance prep course that culminates in a two-day performance on April 5th and 6th. Since this is a performance course, students are expected to attend most, preferably all, the rehearsal’s as well as the performance on April 5th and 6th.

There are two categories for students to enroll in; Fabric and Non-Fabric. The fabric category will include hammock, double hammock, and silks. The non-fabric category will include other apparatus such as lyra and/or trapeze. Once students have enrolled, they will be placed with an instructor and assigned an apparatus.

Please note if you sign up for fabric you could be in either the silks or hammock routines.

Group Act Rehearsal Dates

Rehearsal/Class Dates:

• February Rehearsal: Sunday, February 2nd, 9th. 16th, & 23rd

• March Rehearsal: Sunday, March 2nd, 16th, 23rd, & 30th (no rehearsal on the 9th due to a studio event)

  Please Note: There will not be any class the weekend of March 9th due to a studio event. Classes will be on Sunday mornings. Once students are assigned to a group, they will also be assigned a time for their rehearsals which will be between 9:45am and 12:30pm.  

Dress Rehearsal: Friday, April 4th, 2025

• The dress rehearsal will be from 5pm to 7pm

Performances: Saturday, April 5th and Sunday April 6th

• Call Time for performers will be 1pm

• The show will start at 2pm

Closing Numbers

The closing number is a group routine choreographed by one of our instructors. It is a mixed apparatus routine that will close the show each performance day. If you register for the closing number, there will be six-weeks of rehearsal which will take place on Fridays nights from 5pm to 6:30pm (see dates below)

Rehearsal/Class Dates:

• February 21st & 28th 

• March 14th, 21st, & 28th

• April 4th (dress rehearsal)

Solo Performers

Instructor permission is required for all soloists. Soloists will be required to schedule private lessons with an instructor at the normal $65 per lesson rate. The number of lessons needed will vary per student.

• Private lessons are scheduled around our existing class schedule and are subject to the instructor’s availability.

Cost Breakdown

Group Routines

Cost is $350.

• This includes eight 75 minute classes, one two-hour dress rehearsal, two performances, and one ticket voucher.

Closing Acts

For students ONLY performing in the Closing acts the cost is $200

For students already performing in either a group act or as a soloist the cost is $75

Solo Routines

There is no registration fee because students will be required to pay for private lessons.

• Soloists will be given one ticket voucher for participating in the show.

Registration Information

Registration is open now through January 24th. Students can register for up to two types of performances Groups, Closing Number, or Solo.  Please do not register twice for the same type of act. For example if you are performing a solo, you can also register for the closing number.  If you are performing in a group act, you cannot register for a second group act, but you can register for the closing number.

Each student performing will be given ONE ticket voucher that they can use for either the Saturday or Sunday show. They will have to designate which day they would like to use their voucher for prior to the tickets going on sale on March 15th.

Advanced registration is required for all kids classes and courses.

• If you need to cancel your reservation you must do so by Friday, January 24th, to receive a refund.

• There are no refunds or partial credits after January 24th, 2025

• All participants must complete our online Activity Waiver

• No make up classes or partial refunds will be issued if you miss classes.

Ticket Information

• Tickets can be purchased online and will be made available for purchase on March 15th, 2025

• Each student performing will be given ONE ticket voucher that they can use for either the Saturday or Sunday show. They will have to designate which day they would like to use their voucher for prior to the tickets going on sale on March 15th, 2025.

• There will be an option for in-person tickets and zoom (virtual) tickets

• In-Person Tickets will be $25 each

• Zoom Tickets will be $15 each

• ALL attendees must purchase a ticket
