Olivia (she/her) - Instructor

Describe your pole, aerial, or dance style

I would describe myself as a dynamic or “power poler.” I like the strength and fitness aspect of pole the most and while I appreciate and improving on my flow, it’s not what I am most passionate about.

Dance or fitness history

I was a gymnast for 15 years until I had too many lower body injuries. I was introduced to pole in 2016 and never looked back! Since 2019 I have also regularly taken dance classes in contemporary, jazz, and hiphop and have been reintroducing tumbling into my own training schedule since early 2021.

What are your fitness goals

my goals are to feel good about my body, have fun, and give other people a great fitness experience! I do pole and dance because I love it and I enjoy it especially after a crazy day at work, and I want to share the sense of accomplishment and body positivity pole provides to as many other people as I can.

What do you love about being an instructor

I really love helping other people unlock skills and just have a great time at pole. If it’s to learn something new, try it because they’ve seen it in the media, lose weight, gain confidence, or get strong I just really love trying to create the environment where all those things are possible.

What is the best tip you can give to your students

Bodies are normal no matter what and everyone’s pole journeys are different!!! A skill might be easy one day and hard the next, or easy for you and hard for a friend. It’s all okay.

Barefoot or Heels

I’m team barefoot!

Performances, Competitions & Accomplishments

I have performed at 3 PSO golden gate competitions, placing top 10 in two and top 5 in one all in level 4. I now semi regularly perform for entertainment at parties, art shows, or similar and like participating in showcase and charity events.
